Issues
The blue dots on the map denote where ambulances are currently stationed throughout Travis County. There are currently 30 full-time ambulances and two peak-load units (peak times are high call volume segments of the day, like rush hour.) During those peak times, many ambulances are brought in toward central Travis County to serve the increase in calls, which leaves much of the outer area uncovered in the event of an emergency.
We will continue to fight for additional ambulances and resources to be fully equipped in preparation of those critical times when emergency services are needed.
